Holashtak From 14 March 2019 till 21 March 2019

Dear Readers

I would like to inform the readers that Holashtak, an eight day inauspicious period before Holi will start from 14th March.

Significance of Holashtak: 

There are some states like Punjab, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana etc. where Holashtak is considered inauspicious and no auspicious activities like house warming, marriage, starting a new venture etc. is initiated. 

Holika Dahan will be celebrated on 20th march and Holi festival will be on 21st March.

इस पोस्ट के ज़रिये मैं आपको बताना चाहूंगा की होलाष्टक जो कि होली से पहले के आठ दिनों को कहा जाता है, वो 14 मार्च से शुरू हो रहा है।

होलाष्टक का महत्त्व:

कुछ प्रांतों जैसे पंजाब, हरियाणा, हिमाचल प्रदेश, दिल्ली इत्यादि में होलाष्टक का समय अशुभ माना जाता है। एवं इस समय कोई भी शुभ कार्य जैसे गृह प्रवेश, विवाह, नया काम आरम्भ करना इत्यादि जैसे कार्य संपन्न नहीं किये जाते। 

होलिका दहन 20 मार्च को मनाया जाएगा और होली पर्व 21 मार्च को ।
