Myths and Hype Around Manglik or Mangal Dosha

I am going to write about Manglik Dosha in this post.

What is Manglik Dosha:

Manglik dasha is formed by Mangal (Mars) when it sits in 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house. 

What is all the Fuss about Manglik Dosha:

In many old scriptures it has been written that Mars, when placed in, 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th houses, gives bad results in marriage and in some cases may cause death of partner as well. Hence Manglik dosha is considered very seriously while matching horoscopes. 

Should We Bother About it:

Only upto a certain extent. The horoscopes should be matched carefully because in more than 90 percent of the cases, the manglik dosha gets cancelled but astrologers and pundits do not disclose this otherwise they will not be able to mint money in the name of remedial poojas and rituals. Manglik dosha is not always bad. There is no need to look for only manglik matches for manglik people. Manglik and non manglik can easily marry each other provided there are cancelling factors in the horoscopes.

Conclusion: There is no need to worry much about Manglik dosha. Horoscopes should be analyzed by a competent astrologer who can guide whether the manglik dosha is good or bad.

मंगल दोष क्या होता है ?

मंगल दोष तब बनता है जब मंगल पहले, चौथे, सातवें, आठवें या फिर बारहवें घर में होता है।

मंगल दोष की इतनी चर्चा क्यों ?

हमारे पुराने ज्योतिष के ग्रंथों में कई जगह यह लिखा गया है कि जब मंगल पहले, चौथे, सातवें, आठवें या फिर बारहवें घर में होता है तब यह वैवाहिक सुख के लिए अच्छा नहीं होता है और कुछ परिस्थितियों में तो पति या पत्नी की मृत्यु भी हो सकती है।  इसीलिए कुंडलियां मिलवाते समय मंगल दोष को बहुत ध्यान से देखा जाता है।

क्या हमें मंगल दोष पर ध्यान देना चाहिए ?

केवल कुछ हद तक ही। कुंडलियां बहुत अच्छे से मिलाई जानी चाहिए क्योंकि 90% परिस्थितियों में तो मंगल दोष रद्द ही हो जाता है। लेकिन ज्योतिषी और पंडित कई बार जानबूझकर यह बात बताते नहीं हैं ताकि वह उपायों और पूजा के नाम पर पैसे लूट सके। मंगलीक लोगों के लिए केवल मंगलीक कुंडली ही देखने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है। मांगलिक और जो मांगलिक नहीं है इन दोनों का आपस में बहुत आराम से विवाह हो सकता है अगर कुंडलियों में मांगलिक दोष रद्द करने वाली परिस्थितियों हो तो।   

निष्कर्ष मंगल दोष के बारे में चिंता करने की जरूरत नहीं है। किसी जानकार और अच्छे ज्योतिषी से कुंडलियां मिलानी चाहिए और यह पता लगाना चाहिए कि कुंडलियों में मंगल दोष अच्छा है या बुरा है।
