Volcano Yoga
In
olden days in all the cultures people used to watch for an auspicious time
(muhurta) before starting any major work. Slowly and gradually as we
'progressed' we started believing astrology as well as finding of auspicious
time as 'superstition'.
As
per Vedic astrology planets influence us all throughout our life. If we do some
work during the time which is favorable with the planets, the planets help that
task to get completed with success. If we do right task in a wrong time it
gives us negative results. That is why it is seen that sometimes despite hard
work, success is not achieved.
There
fore it becomes important to look for the auspicious and inauspicious time.
Let
us look at the Jwalaamukhi Yog which is related to the topic we are talking
about. Jwaalamukhi means Volcano in English. There is a combination of tithis
and nakshatras which should be avoided at any cost else because they are like
living volcano. If a child is born on Panchami Tithi and Bharani
Nakshatra, the chances of survival are very less. If the marriage takes place
on following Tithis and Nakshatras, it will not be successful. If a new
business is started on these Tithis, it will not be successful. The
combinations are given below in the table:
Tithi
|
Nakshatra
(Constellation)
|
Ekam
|
Mool
|
Panchami
|
Bharani
|
Shashthi
|
Kritika
|
Navami
|
Rohini
|
Dashmi
|
Ashlesha
|
For
example: if the Tithi is Ekam and the Nakshatra is Mool, starting all
auspicious ventures should be avoided. Likewise if the Tithi is Shashthi,
Nakshatra should be looked at and it should not be Kritika. If it is, starting
an auspicious venture should be avoided.
Now
the question is, we are living in a world where roman calendar is used so how to
look at Tithi and Nakshatra. For reader's benefit, I have found out a website
on the internet where one can see the Tithi and Nakshatra on a particular day.
Please try it. Please note that the Tithi and Nakshatra time
change with the change in location. So do not forget to enter the correct
location in the tool.
