Ketu and Profession (Ketu aur Vyavasaaye)

Ketu resembles Mars in many respects. Ketu is regarded as Gyanakaraka--producer of wisdom. It thus represents religious knowledge, spiritual studies, spiritual initiation and even knowledge leading to final emancipation or moksha.
Ketu is an evil planet. Ketu can represent fraudulent means, treachery and deception. It can represent sinful acts and professions.
Ketu denotes tamoguna.It is a very cruel planet. Badly posited, it makes one ill-mannered and sinful.

    Dear, if Ketu is for Moksha, how can it be a bad or malefic body? And if it is so, what should one in generel do keep him pleased or at bay?
